About Taska Damansara Utama Learning Steps, Petaling Jaya
Taska Damansara Utama has operated for over 40 years. A subsidiary of Learning Steps Sdn Bhd. It represents the First Step : Nursery Childcare in the Learning Steps Program. Founded by Madame Lui Thai Heng, our centre also specialise in preparing children from all ethnic backgrounds, Chinese, Malay, Indian to eventually enter the SJKC stream. Its success has led to a second centre opening - the Learning Steps Academy. All of our teachers are Permata KAP certified and bachelor degree graduates. Madame Lui’s specialised learning model builds the perfect foundation needed for SJKC.
The Second Step : Kindergarten & Childcare in the Learning Steps Elite Program. The children from different ethnic backgrounds will learn the five main subjects which are Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese, Mathematics and Science. We provide strong academic fundamentals to prepare the kids to join SJKC. On top of that, we encourage and inspire the kids to be bold and creative with educational activities such as singing, dancing, arts and crafts.
The Third Step : SJKC/ SK Before and After School Homework Guidance, Daycare & Tutoring in the Learning Steps Academy. We provide homework guidance for the Standard 1 - Standard 6 primary school students from SJKC and SK. Our teachers guide and assist school homework for Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese, Mathematics and Science subjects. We offer tuition classes to the SJKC and SK students as well. During the school holidays, Learning Steps Academy offers study programs with fun and educational activities.

We are truly grateful and happy with Taska Damansara Utama. As new parents, we were naturally quite paranoid with all the worrying news out there. But from when our daughter was just 2y/old until now at 5y/old, progressing from taska to tadika, this daycare has been a place we fully trust. The care, attention, and warmth shown by the team have given us great peace of mind. We couldn’t have asked for a better environment for her early childhood years. From here, she also learns in three languages Malay, Chinese, and English. We're really impressed by the syllabus and how much she enjoys the learning process. It’s amazing to see her picking up new things every day in such a fun and supportive environment. Big applause and deepest appreciation to all teachers and kakak who always make sure our daughter feels safe, loved, and comfortable even outside of school hours. The only small suggestion we have is maybe upgrade the meal options perhaps include more vegetables and fruits. It’s always a challenge for us as parents to get our daughter to eat fruits at home, so having that encouraged at school would be a big help. My baby, who is 1 and half years old, has learned a lot of words after attending school here for half a year. She can speak them out by herself and sometimes sings. I am very happy to take her to school every day and have made many friends. The teachers are very kind and can also sing. There are many photos for parents to see when their babies are studying at school. The day care here also includes dinner, which makes me, a working mom, much more relaxed.
Very attentive to my daughter and focused on her wellbeing!
