Puei Chee Kindergarten, Petaling Jaya

We love Puei Chee! They have helped—and continue to help—our children grow in so many meaningful ways. Because of this, I’ve recommended Puei Chee to many of my friends, and they’ve been just as happy with the results. The discipline, the teaching approach, and the attention given to each child are truly outstanding.

My child has been attending this Chinese kindergarten in Petaling Jaya for the past six months, and we’ve been very happy with the experience so far. What stands out most is the school’s strong emphasis on language development and its well-structured curriculum. It’s been wonderful to see how quickly my child has picked up new skills, particularly in understanding the syllabus and learning to count. Since enrolling, we’ve observed noticeable improvements in both academic and language abilities. The teaching approach is clearly effective and engaging, supported by a nurturing learning environment. I would absolutely recommend this kindergarten to other parents—in fact, all my children have grown up here, and it has been a consistently positive experience each time. It’s truly a great place for building a strong early education foundation.

Puei Chee Kindergarten has been around for over 60 years, and I’m proud to say I attended this school as a child myself—now, I’ve chosen to send both of my children here. The teachers are dedicated, kind, and genuinely passionate about helping children learn, develop, and grow. Since enrolling, I’ve seen noticeable improvements in my children’s reading, writing, and speaking abilities, and many other parents I’ve spoken to share the same positive experience. Beyond academics, the kindergarten fosters a fun and engaging learning environment through activities like singing and dancing—my children have even learned songs such as ‘Negaraku’ and the Selangor state anthem. The teachers place a strong emphasis on manners, social etiquette, and cultural awareness, celebrating major festivals like Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, as well as special occasions like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. The supportive, caring atmosphere and the high-quality education offered at Puei Chee ensure that my children are well-prepared for primary school.

We will like to express our thanks and gratitude for teaching Ney Vern these past 2 years. You have been a caring and wonderful teacher, especially during his down moments. He can always look for you to confide his fears and problems as you were there to listen and give him good advice. He has grown and learnt much during these 2 years. We pray that you will continue to be a blessing to you staff and students for many years to come. Thank you Mrs Ting.

Mrs Ting, Thank you for being an excellent educator, it was not easy to find a principal and teacher like you. When Paul first came to your kindergarten, he was ‘special’. We appreciate your advice. Patience, time and effort in nurturing his learning foundation. Thank you for putting him in the right class. He has learned a lot in school these three years. You and your teachers have made a great difference to Paul. It takes a BIG HEART to help shape little minds.
