Little Mandarin House is conceived and designed to be your child’s home away from home. It strives to extend the familiarity, comfort, safety and security of home with a stimulating, constructive and positive learning environment.
We at Little Mandarin House are led by the fundamental belief that each child is precious, deserving of love and intellectual as well as emotional nourishment. What makes Little Mandarin House a great school for kids age 2-6 is the environment it cultivates for the children. You can see how much effort the establishment puts in creating this harmonious environment for the children by the way they take care of the plants and the maintenance of the school before even stepping inside the school. The establishment takes pride in ensuring the condition inside the school is clean and tidy for the kids to learn and play. I was searching for well-balanced school for my child i.e not too much play without structured learning and I found it at Little Mandarin House. Despite its name, children do learn 3 languages in the school. My child also has opportunity to get extracurricular activity within the school i.e speech and drama class which she truly enjoys. There are holiday programs offered over term breaks dedicated on arts and crafts, cooking and other thematic activities supplementing the children's academic program. It is worth mentioning that Little Mandarin House teachers are caring, supportive, dedicated and diligent. The children love them and look forward to school daily. Little Mandarin House is my child's happy place. Keep up the standards Little Mandarin House, proud of what you have done and what the children have achieved. Kudos to you all for making it great. 1) I typically love how the school involved parents in very frequent Parent-Teacher Meeting. 2) LMH syllabus are very high standard and encouraged my son to learn and prepare him for Standard 1. 3) The teachers are very loving and teach with heart. My son always comes home and tell me how much he loves the teachers. 4) 华语 - LMH's chinese syllabus are at very high standards. The 听写brings my son's chinese to the next level. LMH's chinese standards really prepare kids for future. 5) Bahasa - My son can read bahasa! LMH's bahasa standard superb!! 6) LMH is a all-rounder school. Not just academic. The school also organize many events outside of school. i) Concert - I was very impressed by the hard work of the school and the students. ii) 灯笼outing - Regardless of the weather, the teachers make it happen. 7) Changes in George since he joined LMH: i) More sociable ii) Use of language and choice of words have improved iii) More cheerful and looking forward to learn iv) Gained a group of good friends 8) Overall, LMH has a group of very local teachers and management. They really emphasize on the wellbeing, growth of their students.
We are very happy about the progress Alexandria made especially in Mandarin and Bahasa. She has also made friends in the environment. I'm happy that Alexandria looks forward to go to school. She has definitely many good memories at school and her friends, especially of the school concert held recently. We were all amazed and surprised by the performance done by the pupils, especially the 6 years old students. I could tell the teachers have dedicated a lot of their effort and time into making it a great success. My younger son will be joining the school next year and I hope he will do just as well as his elder sister.
