About Daitoh Kindergarten Malaysia
Daitoh Preschool, founded over 50 years ago in Hanno City, Saitama, Japan, has nurtured more than 4,000 children, preparing them to become confident, responsible members of society. Guided by the philosophy that “the soul of a child is formed by age three”, we have developed the unique Daitoh Method—a holistic approach shaped by decades of research and hands-on practice.

In September 2024, we proudly opened our first overseas branch in Malaysia, marking an exciting new chapter in our journey. Building on the success of our 8 schools in Japan, Daitoh Kindergarten Malaysia combines the proven strengths of Japanese early childhood education with Malaysia’s KSPK program, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience that aligns with local standards while offering global perspectives.

Our curriculum focuses on language mastery—Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Japanese— equipping children with essential communication skills from an early age. Beyond academics, the Japanese approach emphasizes independence, respect, manners, emotional regulation, and social responsibility.

We place strong emphasis on children’s posture, time management, and concentration skills, nurturing both body and mind. By fostering good habits early, we prepare children to transition smoothly into primary school and thrive in future learning environments.
